PDF Render Center

PDF Render Center
PDF Server for high-volume document traffic

PDF Render Center (PDF RC) enables you to convert documents with batch jobs and to process PDF files. It can also be easily integrated into existing document management systems. PDF Render Center is perfect for small and midsize businesses that want to minimize the use of paper documents while automatically managing thousands of documents. It allows more efficient processing of a greater number of documents while reducing or even eliminating the costs of copying and archiving.

PDF RC converts all your mission-critical documents, as well as data from electronic sources, into PDF documents and/or images. The newly created PDFs are then available on the back-end and can be administered in your database as well as in document management and content management systems. The files can be systematically organized, archived, password-protected and transmitted with PDF RC. In addition, you can define and optimize an enterprise-wide document workflow.

Document Management Systems Integration

The standard methods of data flow control do not usually permit PDF RC to integrate with document management systems (DMS). They are not always applicable or effective when using PDF Render Center within DMS solutions. PDF RC thus offers alternative interfaces supporting integration with various server software.

The most flexible in terms of capabilities is the COM interface. PDF RC provides this interface for transferring original files for processing as well as for process completion, notification, and transmission of processed documents (usually as PDFs).

More common but less flexible is a PDF RC interface based on Web services. Web services come with the PDF RC distribution kit and provide any software running on any platform with a way to communicate with PDF RC and to transmit documents to it for processing and conversion.

You’ll find more information about using these interfaces in "PDF Render Center - Integration with DMS", which you can download from the yellow box on the right.
